Basic First Aid is designed to train individuals and corporations which require training in basic first aid skills. This program will provide basic first aid training to students, giving them the skills necessary to manage illnesses and injuries until the arrival of 911. Basic First Aid is designed to complement cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in order meet OSHA requirements for first aid training in the workplace or occupational setting. Expanded Basic First Aid will provide basic first aid training to students, giving them the skills necessary to manage illnesses and injuries, with additional information on splinting and managing specific first aid problems until the arrival of 911. This class is designed to be a Basic First Aid class that does not include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Advanced First Aid supplement is designed to bridge the gap between the basic first aid provider and professional emergency medical services. This program provides students with advanced first aid training, giving them additional tools to manage illnesses and injuries until the arrival of EMS. Advanced First Aid is conducted as a supplement for individuals who already completed Basic CPR and First Aid training.
