ACLS Skills Test or Challenge

Option 1: Blended Skills Session
You can access the online portion of the class at www.elearning.heart.org. HeartCode® ACLS is a web-based, self-directed program that teaches healthcare providers the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in adults. Please note that you must purchase this online course separately from the skills session. You will need to email or bring your printed certificate of completion to your skills session.
Option 2: Challenge the Course
This option is strictly for experienced providers. There is no review during the session; you will immediately take the open-book written test. If you pass, you will then complete your skills session. This option does not require the online course.
BLS Add-on
You may add a BLS CPR Challenge to either ACLS option. This requires you to take a written test at the skills session and complete the additional required BLS skills, which will add approximately one hour to your session.
