Online Blended Learning for Childcare Providers!

Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online

This course is a blended learning format, consisting of an online eLearning portion through American Heart Association, followed by an in-person skills session with Lifeline Training Center.


Step 1: Online eLearning Course

The online portion covers the cognitive information required for pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED use. This course is intended for childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, and others who require a course completion card for regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EMSA).

– Requirements: You must use your own individual email address to create a unique AHA eLearning account.
– Duration: Approximately six hours. Please note this course is non-refundable.
– Compliance: You must purchase and complete all topics within the Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED curriculum to meet State of California requirements. No topics are optional for the State of California. (All Topics are required including Adult CPR/AED and Choking)

Step 2: Proof of Completion
Once you have finished the online course, please email your certificate to us; info@lifelinechico.com or bring a printed copy to your skills session. This documentation is required to attend the in-person training.

Step 3: In-Person Skills Session
Purchase and complete the two-hour skills session at Lifeline Training Center, we will perform physical skills assessments and cover topics including immunization requirements, medication administration, car seats, poison control, and the State of California Asthma curriculum.
