      Basic CPR/AED/First Aid Course

      Arrival Time: 0800-0815

      The purpose of this OSHA Compliant course is to give individuals in the workplace and the community the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide resuscitation or Basic non-healthcare provider CPR on patients for all ages (CPR/AED for Adult, Child and Infants) including how to use an AED, for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and those who are unresponsive or choking. Course can be offered through HSI or AHA, please let us know if you have a required provider.  

      Basic Community First Aid can be added to the course to complete your knowledge and fulfill OSHA and CalOSHA requirements. Basic Community First Aid includes a large amount of topics (bleeding control, limb deformity, seizures, asthma, epi-pens, etc.) and what to do until advanced medical personnel arrive.

Blended Training:  You will find the online class at www.elearning.heart.org  HeartCode® BLS (Basic Life Support) is a web-based, self-directed program that teaches healthcare providers knowledge and skills needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in adults, children, and infants.  You must purchase this class separately from this skills session. Email or bring your printed proof on completion to your skills session. You must purchase the online course in addition to this skills session.  This can be found at https://elearning.heart.org/course/437  

      2. Experienced Provider Course: With no review in class come in and take the written test (open book) and complete your skills test. This doesn't require the online class.
